Rasmussen’s research interests include political sociology and political theory, the history of public opinion and the media, online journalism and transformations of public spheres. He is currently engaged in the social and political history of the debate on sovereignty in Norway. He is the author of several books and articles on political history, digital media, ethics, journalism and social theory.
